To the family of Firefighter Jones, our hearts and prayers are with you in this troubling time. May your spirits remain high with the fond memories you hold dear. God bless you.
Fred Cummins, Jr. Berlin, MA __________ Where do we start. Steve will be missed by our family more than words can express. Steve was just an all American Great Guy! Our children knew him as a person who gave his Christmas Eve for the last four years to our family so that their children, our grandchildren would learn to know him as Santa. There will be no more Santa at our home on Christmas Eve, as no one can fill the set of shoes that Steve Jones wore for us. Farewell our friend, we miss you, rest in peace. Anne-Marie & Michael Zube and Jillian Christopher & Linda Biron and Nicholas, Zachary and Nathan Andre & Lisa Biron Roger & Irene Biron January 4, 2007 __________ To the family and fellow firefighters of Steven "Jonesie" Jones, After a phone call from a friend reached me this weekend I was shocked to hear of the passing of my friend Jonesie. I had the pleasure of working along side of Steve at the welding shop for the state of New Hampshire. Steve and I hit it off and always had a lot of laughs and fond memories of the projects we would come up with. Steve always stayed in touch with me even though I had moved to Florida and he really liked it when I went to work for E-one building fire trucks one of Steve's true passion's in life. He visited last year and got a tour of our plant's and brought photo's of the new aerial that his department was restoring to serve the town. I am lucky to have known Steve and worked along side of him and was able to call him my friend. I know that Barnstead Fire has lost a true fireman and supporter. As for Steve's family I want you to know that he always talk of you and the kids and how much you all meant to him in his life. Again my prayer's and thought's are with you in this time of such a great loss.
Sincerely and with much sadness,
Darwin

We know BFD what a great person you will be missing. Having worked with Steve and attending the last lunch he served for the Christmas DOT party, little did we know it would be the last time. Because our son is a firefighter, we know how close the brotherhood is and what an empty space you will have.
